Ville Wealth Management Official Launch 4-28-25🍾

After 30 years in banking and building two financial planning departments, I am excited to start my own Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) Wealth Firm. I would love to show you what Ville Wealth Management offers. This could provide you valuable insights and possibly lead to you becoming a client or referring others who might benefit from our services. You can easily schedule a 30-minute meeting by selecting the “Let’s Connect” button.

Why I am starting my own firm?

  • 70% of financial planning recommendations are not implemented. (Forbes.com)

  • 73% is the average gap between the financial services clients expected compared with the services they received. (Spectrem Group Survey)

  • 36% of Americans have a written financial plan; 96% of those with a plan feel confident they will reach their goals. (Charles Schwab Survey)

  • 88% of clients surveyed believe passing away without an estate plan is irresponsible; 58% of those same clients do not have an estate plan in place and almost half of those that have a plan need it updated. (Merrill Lynch Survey)

Why Ville Wealth Management?

For the past 20 years, I have built two leading financial planning teams at top Regional Private Banks. I emphasized the client experience and trained my planners to prioritize clients. As I advanced in my career, I had less time with clients, even though I was shaping the conversations and advice they received.

In 2019, my high school class (Wintersville 1988) had its 30-year reunion. I had missed earlier reunions due to family and work commitments. At the reunion, I was surprised at how easily we reconnected and felt like close friends again.

I grew up in a small town in southeastern Ohio, where West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Ohio converge. We called this place the “Ville,” a close-knit community of hardworking people, enthusiastic sports fans, delicious pizza, and parents who wanted a better life for their children.

Since 2019, I have organized the annual Ville Golf Outing and a gathering for non-golfers. This experience of connecting with people and planning events has motivated me to want to work directly with clients and share my 30 years of experience to help them avoid costly mistakes.

Many advisors prioritize sales and quickly move on to the next client. My process is simple, work with the client to understand their goals and priorities, not mine, and build a plan to keep them on track. Few firms focus on putting plans into action. My favorite quote is “A financial plan unimplemented has no value”.

If you are from a small town like the Ville and need help with retirement planning, withdrawal strategies, reducing taxes, estate planning and preserving wealth, I would be happy to assist you and your family!

Ville Wealth Management Main Services

Ville Wealth Management works with all types of clients but specializes in helping clients aged 50 to 65 in preparing for a successful retirement, addressing the unique challenges and opportunities of this life change.

  • Investment Management: We collaborate with esteemed custodians, Charles Schwab and Altruist, to manage your investments. Typical management fees at some investment firms range from 1.4% to 1.5%. Additionally, other firms may incorporate outside managers, incurring an extra investment strategy fee ranging from 0.05% to 0.7%. At Ville Wealth Management, our aim is to keep investment management costs low, with fees at 1% or lower when utilizing the Ville Discount. A tiered fee schedule is used, with the lowest fee at 0.50%.The minimum client size, which encompasses all accounts and household members, is $250,000. In contrast, the minimums at my previous firms were $2,000,000.

  • Financial Planning: Each client receives a detailed financial plan tailored to their needs, updated annually at no extra charge. While most firms charge $2,000 to $5,000 for such plans, we include this service in our standard offerings. Most firms do not include plan implementation, this is a cornerstone of our process at Ville Wealth Management.

  • Estate Planning: We work with EncorEstate Plans to offer essential estate planning services. While typical attorney fees for Wills and Trusts range from $2,000 to $5,000, our clients can access these services for $625 (prices tied to EncorEstate Plans fee schedule).

  • Risk Management: We team up with leading firms specializing in Health, Life, Disability, and Long-Term Care insurance. We do not earn commissions from insurance sales, allowing us to focus on finding the best solutions for your financial well-being.
